Teenage angst got you down? Don’t worry, there’s a Quickie for that. Grand kids driving you crazy during Christmas and all you want is to sneak away for a bit of ice fishing? There’s a Quickie for that. Are you a plush purple dinosaur trapped in cartoon closet hell? There’s even a Quickie for that! Quickies is Live Girls! trademark event and longest running program.  Volume 12 features playwrights from all around the country, including local playwrights Joy McCullough-Carranza and Juliet Waller Pruzan. The festival features local directors and actors as well as short dance pieces by local choreographers between plays. From the heartfelt to the absurd, suspenseful to sublime – no matter what you’re looking for, there really is a Quickie for everyone!

It’s a scorching hot day in New Jersey and high school senior Phoebe coaches her little sister Natalie through the perils of high school all while struggling with her own difficult decisions.
