10/3 The Banyan Tree Trilogy by Tulika Kumar
What happens when the apple falls too far from the tree? The Banyan Tree Trilogy examines modern Indian-American life through lenses of gender, sexuality and politics as first generation Indian-Americans wrestle with the pressure that comes when their lives clash with the expectations of their parents.

10/10 The Lake House by Elena Hartwell
It’s human nature to assign labels to people. But humans are much more than the boxes they are neatly placed in for the comfort of others. Brought together by the death of a loved one, a family faces much more than their grief. The Lake House is a poignant look at stereotypes and the complexities that lie beneath.

10/17 After Midnight by Joy McCullough-Carranza
What if Cinderella decides not to play by the rules? This twisted take on a classic fairytale re-envisions Cinderella as a strong willed heroine willing to fight for what she knows is right. After Midnight will leave you rooting for the lady with the glass slipper like never before.

10/24 Selected Shorts
Our final night of the series will feature not one, but FIVE delicious treats.

La Lune a play in one act by Andrea Nelson
