Live Girls! Theater is a Seattle based theater company dedicated to supporting new works by women. It was founded in 1999 and operated venues in Pioneer Square (619 Western Building) from 2002-2005 and Ballard (Kress Building Basement) from 2005-2009. Live Girls! Theater is currently a producing theater company performing in various venue around Seattle, Washington.

Our Mission: Live Girls! is a theater company dedicated to producing and developing new works by women. We challenge the current under representation of women in theater by:

• Empowering women artists to be leaders and create their own opportunities;
• Providing the public with opportunities to see plays by women;
• Advocating for female playwrights and their work in the theater community;
• Celebrating women’s contributions to society;
• Creating exciting events that entertain our audiences, and provoke responses.
